A new report issued by the Irish League of Credit Unions has revealed the perilous state of personal finances for many Irish households. According to the report over 1.8 million have only €100 or less to live on per month once their essential bills are paid.
The report also showed that 47% of people are having difficulties in paying their bills on time, with phone bills amongst those most likely to be put on the long finger for payment.
