EuroIn a stark snapshot of Ireland’s current economic status, a new survey by the Irish League of Credit Unions has revealed that nearly 47% of households in the country have only €100 or less at the end of each month after paying their bills.

The survey also revealed that householders are downsizing cars to save money and up to 31% are considering relinquishing their private health insurance if there are continuing increases in premium prices.
