FloodingWith up to 70mm of rain falling between around 1 – 4am on Thursday morning in the north and south of Ireland, large tracts of Cork and Belfast have been extensively flooded. The ESB say they have now restored power to 8,000 of the 10,000 homes that were affected by outages following the heavy rainfall.
