Michael NoonanSpeaking at a property industry conference, Minister for Finance Michael Noonan has said that the mortgage interest relief incentive introduced by the government in the last budget will not be extended into 2013.

The incentive which was aimed at stimulating the Irish property market sees first-time home buyers receive mortgage interest relief at 25%, however this will be removed in the governments December budget this year.
