Saudi Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, has died aged 79. Prince Nayef was a half brother of King Abdullah and had served as Interior Minister of the kingdom since the mid 1970′s.

The Crown Prince had recently been abroad for medical treatment and had died outside the kingdom according to a statement from the royal court. Funeral prayers will be held after sunset on Sunday.
