According to new research from the Boston University School of Medicine, a couple of glasses of wine a day may improve the health quality of middle aged adults. Researchers analysed over 5,000 people aged 50 years or older. Most of the subjects involved showed moderate drinking patterns over a six year period, which was defined as three drinks or less for a woman and four drinks or less for a man per day.
The study concluded that overall for middle aged people there was a positive correlation between quality of life and regular moderate alcohol consumption.
